Uses
AM Pt-928 is 92% Platinum (99.995% minimum purity) and 8% Tungsten (W) with very little to no trace elements of impurities. AM Pt-928 is primarily used for medical device manufacturing, implantable conductive lead wires, and Neuromodulation. AM Pt-928 is approved for internal use by the FDA.
Brazing Characteristics
AM Pt-928 is manufactured with the highest grades of commercially pure fine platinum (99.995% minimum) and Tungsten available with minimal trace elements. AM Pt-928 is very ductile and has high corrosion resistance.

Forms Available
Wire, Ultra-Fine Wire (under .005: Diameter), Foil, Sheet, and Preformed shapes; rings, washers, discs, shims, specialty shapes. Two dimensional shapes can be Laser-cut and/or machined with EDM though parts must be cleaned prior to brazing.
